Hope Leadership Trust is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Tacoma, Washington, USA, serving African immigrant and refugee communities in Washington State and Africa.
We exist to empower at-risk African immigrant and refugee youth, women, and their children to move from survival to stability and long-term success. Our work is rooted in healing-centered, culturally responsive, and community-driven approaches that promote leadership development, personal growth, and economic wellbeing.
Guided by our long-term strategic vision, Hope Leadership Trust develops and delivers integrated programs and community-based leadership hubs that bring together youth leadership academies, mentorship hubs, culturally responsive healing and wellness services, workforce and economic-empowerment pathways, and family-centered support systems. These efforts are designed to reduce barriers for women, strengthen youth leadership pipelines, and support families holistically.
